Workplace safety is not optional — it is a legal and moral obligation. OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and local fire codes require proper storage, handling, and containment of hazardous materials. We stock a comprehensive range of safety products to help you maintain compliance and protect your workforce.

Flammable and combustible storage cabinets are essential for any facility handling paints, solvents, adhesives, or cleaning chemicals. Our cabinets meet NFPA 30 and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.106 requirements. Double-wall steel construction with 1.5" air space, leak-proof sills, and self-latching doors. Available in 4–120 gallon capacities for manual and automatic closing models.

Spill control and containment products help you comply with EPA SPCC regulations. From spill berms and pallets to spill kits and absorbent pads, we carry complete solutions for secondary containment of drums, IBC totes, and tanks.

Safety cans and dispensing equipment eliminate the risk of sparks and static discharge during transfer of flammable liquids. Type I and Type II safety cans, plunger cans, bench cans, and drip cans — all UL-listed and FM-approved. Polyethylene and steel options available.

Gas cylinder storage keeps compressed gas cylinders organized and secure. Vertical and horizontal racks, wall brackets, cylinder lockers, and hand trucks designed for safe transport. Meet CGA, OSHA, and NFPA 55 requirements for cylinder storage.

Emergency eyewash and shower equipment provides crucial first response in labs, chemical storage areas, and industrial plants. Combination units, eyewash stations, drench showers, and frost-protected models for outdoor and unheated facilities.

How to Choose the Right Safety Products

Determine the classification of materials you store: flammable (Flash Point < 140°F), combustible (Flash Point 140-200°F), corrosive, or toxic. Each requires specific storage solutions.

For flammable liquids, NFPA 30 limits storage to 60 gallons of Class I/II liquids per cabinet (120 gallons for Class III). Use the correct cabinet color: yellow for flammable, red for combustible, blue for corrosive, green for pesticides.

Spill containment must hold 110% of the largest container (or 25% of total volume if storing multiple containers). Calculate your maximum potential spill to select the right berm or pallet size.

Emergency eyewash and shower equipment must be within a 10-second (55-foot) reach from the hazard. ANSI Z358.1 requires tepid water (60-100°F) for a full 15-minute flush cycle.

Flammable Storage Cabinets — NFPA 30 & OSHA Compliant

Flammable storage safety cabinets

Proper storage of flammable and combustible liquids prevents fire, explosion, and toxic exposure. Our cabinets are built from 18-gauge double-wall steel with a 1.5" insulating air space and feature leak-proof 2" sills, self-latching doors, and grounded connections.

Choose manual close for high-use environments (production floor, lab, maintenance) or self-close with fusible link for areas where doors may be left open. Available with or without vents; vented models connect to external exhaust.

Countertop and under-counter cabinets (4–22 gallon) fit tight spaces. Floor-standing cabinets (30–120 gallon) accommodate drums and bulk containers. Two-door and sliding-door configurations available.

Spill Containment & Secondary Containment Solutions

EPA SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure) regulations require secondary containment for any container storing oil or hazardous liquids. Spill berms, pallets, and modular containment decks provide the required 110% containment capacity.

Portable spill berms are ideal for temporary containment during drum filling, truck loading, or outdoor operations. Drive-over berms allow forklift and vehicle access. Heavy-duty co-polymer and UV-stabilized materials for long outdoor service life.

Spill kits put absorbent materials where you need them — at the point of potential release. Stationary and portable kits include socks, pads, pillows, and disposal bags. Available for oil-only, universal, and hazmat applications.

Frequently Asked Questions

What safety cabinet do I need for paint and solvent storage?

Paints, lacquers, and solvents are typically Class I or II flammable liquids requiring a yellow flammable storage cabinet (NFPA 30 compliant). Choose a cabinet sized to hold your maximum anticipated inventory plus growth margin. Manual-close is standard; self-close is required when the cabinet is in a means of egress.

Do you carry OSHA-compliant safety products?

Yes. All our flammable cabinets, safety cans, eyewash stations, and gas cylinder racks meet or exceed OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, and EPA requirements. Product pages note applicable standards.

What size spill containment berm do I need?

For a single 55-gallon drum, you need a spill containment pallet holding at least 60.5 gallons (110% of 55 gallons). For multiple drums or IBC totes, sump capacity must hold 25% of total stored volume or 110% of the largest container, whichever is greater.

How often should eyewash stations be tested?

ANSI Z358.1 requires weekly activation of plumbed eyewash stations to verify flow and flush debris from the supply line. Self-contained units require visual inspection per manufacturer instructions, typically monthly.

What are the requirements for gas cylinder storage?

OSHA 29 CFR 1910.253 requires cylinders to be stored upright, secured with chains or straps to prevent falling, separated by hazard class (flammables vs. oxidizers), and stored away from heat sources and egress paths. Empty and full cylinders must be segregated.
