Bubble Wrap & Foam Cushioning for Superior Product Protection

Protect fragile shipments with over 400 cushioning products — bubble rolls, bubble bags, foam rolls, anti-static foam, and specialty wrap.

Proper cushioning is the difference between a perfect delivery and a damage claim. Material Handling USA stocks a comprehensive range of bubble wrap and foam cushioning products designed to protect everything from fragile glassware to precision electronics.

Our bubble wrap rolls come in 3/16" small bubble, 5/16" medium bubble, and 1/2" large bubble varieties. Small bubble provides surface protection for glass, ceramics, and smooth surfaces. Large bubble cushions heavier items and absorbs impact shock. Rolls are available in widths from 12" to 72" and lengths from 100 to 750 feet.

For electronic components and ESD-sensitive items, we stock pink anti-static bubble wrap, which prevents static discharge during packaging and storage. Anti-static foam rolls and sheets provide additional ESD protection.

Bubble bags (pre-formed bubble pouches) streamline packing operations — simply insert the item and seal. Available in hundreds of sizes, they are ideal for e-commerce fulfillment centers where packing speed matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size bubble wrap should I use?

3/16" (small bubble) is best for wrapping individual items and filling spaces around fragile objects like glass, electronics, and ceramics. 5/16" medium bubble works for a wider range of items. 1/2" (large bubble) is for heavier items that need significant shock absorption, like small appliances or automotive parts.

How much bubble wrap do I need per box?

For a 12×12×12" box, plan on about 3–4 square feet of bubble wrap per item for basic protection, or 6–8 square feet for fragile items. A 12"×75' roll provides 75 square feet, enough for approximately 20–25 standard parcels.

Is anti-static bubble wrap necessary for electronics?

Yes — standard bubble wrap can generate static charges that damage circuit boards and microchips. Anti-static (pink) bubble wrap is treated to dissipate static electricity. ESD shielding bags provide even greater protection for sensitive electronics in storage or transit.

Do you sell biodegradable or recyclable cushioning alternatives?

Yes. We carry kraft paper void fill, crinkle cut paper, and tissue paper as sustainable alternatives to bubble wrap. These materials are 100% recyclable and can be disposed of in standard paper recycling streams.
