Shipping Labels, Address Labels & Barcode Labels

Over 840 label SKUs — laser, inkjet, thermal, and specialty labels for shipping, inventory, hazmat, and warehouse management.

Accurate, scannable labels are essential for every shipping and inventory management operation. Material Handling USA offers an extensive selection of adhesive labels compatible with all major label printers including laser, inkjet, and direct thermal printers.

Shipping and address labels are available in the industry-standard 4×6" size (ideal for carrier labels), as well as 2×4", 3.33×4", and custom sizes. Choose from permanent adhesive (all-weather), removable, or repositionable labels. Full-sheet formats compatible with Avery templates are available for laser and inkjet printers.

For warehouse and inventory applications, we stock barcode labels, numbered inventory labels, color-coded dot labels, and shelf/rack labeling systems. Our DOT hazardous materials labels meet 49 CFR requirements for proper marking of hazmat shipments.

All labels are sold in rolls or packs. Rolls of 500–10,000 are available for thermal label printers. Sheet packs (typically 100–500 sheets) are available for office laser and inkjet printers. Request a quote for high-volume custom label orders.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size label do UPS and FedEx use for shipping?

The standard size for UPS, FedEx, and USPS carrier labels is 4×6 inches. These fit standard thermal label printers (like Zebra, DYMO, and Rollo) without cutting. For laser/inkjet, use 8.5×11 sheets with two 4×5 labels per sheet (half-sheet format).

Do your labels work with Zebra thermal printers?

Yes — our 4×6 thermal labels are compatible with all direct thermal Zebra printers (ZP450, ZD410, ZD620, etc.), as well as DYMO LabelWriter, Rollo, and Bixolon models. Always confirm label core size (1" or 3") when ordering.

What are hazmat labels and when are they required?

DOT hazmat labels (also called hazard class labels) are required on packages containing regulated materials such as lithium batteries, flammable liquids, and corrosives. They must comply with 49 CFR 172.400 specifications. We stock all 9 hazard class labels plus ORM-D and miscellaneous required markings.

Can I order custom printed labels?

Yes — custom labels with your logo, barcode, product information, or sequential numbering are available. Minimum order quantities apply. Contact our team at (800) 326-4403 for a custom label quote.
